     Named after the notorious slave trader, in these waters slaves used to be unloaded and brought to land. Since then this beach and its surrounding mountains called Serra das Emerencias have been well preserved and you can still see and hear the sounds of monkeys, wild cats and dogs, different species of birds, rodents and snakes which represent the authentic fauna of the area.
